Terms of use
1. What Oro pavojus is
Oro pavojus (oropavojus.lt) is an unofficial supplementary source of information about air threats in Lithuania. It is not an official warning system. The service does not replace sirens, LT-Alert messages or official instructions. If you receive an official alert or hear sirens, follow the official instructions, even when the map looks calm. In immediate danger, call 112.
2. No guarantees
- We do not guarantee that the information is accurate, complete or timely, or that the service will run without interruption.
- Aircraft, threats in Ukraine and crowd reports come from third parties and residents. They may contain errors or delays.
- We never show how long a threat will take to reach a place, and we never rate whether a place is safe.
3. Your account
- You may create an account if you are at least 14 years old.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your sign-in details.
4. Your reports
- Drone and shelter reports must be truthful and based on what you saw or heard yourself.
- You must not knowingly submit false reports, create automated or fake accounts, disrupt the service or try to bypass its safeguards.
- By submitting a report you allow us to process it and to show it to other users in aggregated form, as described in the privacy policy.
5. Moderation and bans
Administrators may hide reports, lower an account’s trust level or ban an account that breaks these terms. Every administrator action is logged.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage caused by relying on information in the service or by the service being unavailable. Make decisions about your safety by following official instructions.
7. Data sources
Some content belongs to third parties and is used under their licences. Sources and attributions are listed on the sources page.
8. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. We will announce material changes in the app. Send questions to info@oropavojus.lt.
