   Explain calmly and briefly what you are going to do. Keep the child close and take something that matters to them.

   Help them reach a safe place in time and do not leave them alone. Take their medicines and aids, and do not use the lift.

   Include pets in your plan: a lead or carrier, water and food.

   4. Neighbours

   Warn your neighbours, especially those who live alone. If someone needs urgent help, call 112.
